Based on the Orton-Gillingham philosophy, Steve Tattum, one of the directors of Denver Academy, started development of this program back in 1973 based on three different streams of research:
Steve was a teacher in three different Orton-Gillingham methods, the Lindamood-Bell reading system, directed reading with basal literature books, and whole language. He also studied Reading Recovery and Phonographics. In 1997, he synthesized the research and underlying principles of all reading approaches and created the F.A.S.T. Reading System for schools.

Math is a language. It's the only language that you can speak across the globe with anyone. It helps us think more logical and teaches us to problem solve more effectively. Math is fun, it lives in our daily lives. Everyone can do math, as teachers we just have to find the right way for each student to learn. That's what we can help you or your child with… making math fun and accessible to everyone.
Through individualized instruction, we pursue the potential of each child to fully develop his or her academic ability and independence. We motivate students to have a sense of ownership and positive attitude towards study. We observes, assess and guide students in an instructional approach that cultivates the students’ ability to reason and think logically.
