For a child to reach his/her full potential it is important that the primary foundation skills of attention, balance and coordination are firmly established, as they are the core building blocks for all academic performance and higher-level reasoning skills.
At Hybinette LLC, we provide Educational Consulting, assessments to focus on identifying the sources of the problem and then tailoring an individual, holistic, strategically effective, whole body Education Integration Therapy program. We aim to help children who have either been diagnosed with specific learning disorders or who are underachieving, despite good level of intelligence.
Auditory processing begins developing in the womb and is fine tuned into adulthood. It allows us to not only hear but also to understand the world around us and process information important for speech development, attention, and executive functioning skills.
Our visual abilities start developing after birth and include not just acuity, but smooth eye tracking critical for a child’s basic reading, math calculation and writing abilities.
Our process begins with detailed physiological assessments of children’s physical abilities from general coordination and balance needed for posture; gross and fine motor coordination and the ability to sit still; laterality and the eye movement needed for reading, writing, copying and catching a ball; to auditory processing abilities, primitive and postural reflex maturation and cerebella involvement.
We establish where signs of immaturity in the body are present, identify where in the developmental remedial exercise process the child needs to begin, supervise, teach and coach the child using specific developmental movement methods devised by INPP, Unyte/iLs, Learning Breakthrough combined with a variety of academic interventions to close the child’s learning gap.
We can also assist families navigate the Special Education Process within the Public School system or in Private Schools to provide individual student and family guidance.
